It is in the Niagra area thid year. (It rotates across the country with each region hosting in a west to east manner.) The National schutzhund championship and the Sieger Show are held on the same weekend. It is a great weekend every time. www.gssccnational2011.com

I'm looking forward to attending the show (as a spectator)!

You will have a good time.    I am just waiting for it to make its way back to the West coast.  I think it still has to go  east ( in Quebec/New Foundland(?) before it is back in BC.

I still have yet to completely understand that "calcutta"  business, though.

I doubt it would ever find its way as far east as Newfoundland, Mystere. That would require a 3 hour ferry ride across the ocean, a ride that can sometimes be VERY rough, depending on the weather that day!

There's a good reason Newfoundland took so long to become a province!

What's this calcutta business?  (And it's spelled NIAGARA - one more 'A' than Viagra! LOL!)

It has been hosted in the east in New Brunswick, not much difference.  The point is that the eastern region (which has its own time-zone, apparently) must host it, before it comes back to British Columbia.   It's that Canadian fair-play at work.

I'm sorry but I'm going to respectfully disagree- there is a big difference between New Brunswick and Newfoundland. As Sunsilver has pointed out, the ferry ride can be terrible (ie. vomit comet) and takes about 6 hours (or more) from Nova Scotia.

SIX hours? Oops, I stand corrected! I must have been thinking of the ferry across the Bay of Fundy, which can be bad enough. When my uncle and his family made that trip, he was the only one able to even THINK of eating supper!

Don't you all know? Mystere knows everything about everything.

Autobahn,

Since you feel the need to get snarky,  and apparently have a reading comprehension problem, let me re-post what I said in big letters for you:

It has been hosted in the east in New Brunswick, not much difference.  The point is that the eastern region (which has its own time-zone, apparently) must host it, before it comes back to British Columbia.   It's that Canadian fair-play at work.   (Emphasis added--that means that is the important part--the part most central to the communication--the point.   Get it?  Got it?  GOOD!

The emphasis was achieved by putting it in italics.  I just realized that you might not understand, without it being explained to you.
