Does anyone use these "Going home" puppy kits?
I'd love to do a puppy kit for my pups. I'm just not finding any kits that are of quality puppy food.
Thank you!

Does anyone make their own? if so where do you get all the "stuff" to make the kit? I mean, duh! What stuff do you put in it? Where do you get coupons and flyers?
Thank you again!!

What food are you feeding your pups?  Try contacting the company (TOTW, Royal Canin, whatever) and they may send you samples or complete kits with coupons and stuff.  Eukenuba has a nice puppy kit they send out, although I am not a fan of their food.  It may come with the AKC papers, I am not a breeder but I think I saw it on the website at one point in time?

My mentor would put together a lovely puppy kit. She had the sonogram of the babies, then pictures from birth to 7 - 8 weeks. Their papers were in the folder (AKC and parents info). She included a zip lock baggie as well of whatever food the kids were on. With the last pup. I packed a 30lb bag of food in my suitcase(I didn't have access to that food at the time)!! I have saved all of them....

I make my puppies a folder that includes pictures from 1 day to 8 weeks old, vaccination records, my contract, AKC registration certificate, pictures of the parents along with their pedigrees, registrations and health clearences. I also include a collar, toy, and a large ziplock baggie of food I have been feeding them. The puppy buyers always compliment on the folder and I really enjoy making them.

I send a ziploc bag of the food that they're currently on (TOTW), a folder with a copy of the contract, AKC papers, microchip registration, new puppy information (3 page write-up of basic info for new puppy buyers), feeding & supplement info, shot info.  I also send a 3 month supply of the Fastrack microbial supplement, a tube of Fastrack gel which helps prevent stress-induced diarrhea and a starter pack of vitamins.  I also include a CD of pictures of the parents, puppy pictures and pedigree info.
