Are you expecting anyone to believe that your original post in this thread is anything but an attempt to bait?

It is absolutely not a bait ,

I have always compared them to the WL, with a closed mind and narrow pont of view.  But i think that is a bit unfair, due to the selective breeding.  Instead of ranking one better than the other i now choose to think of them as being different.  The goals are different when breeding as result they will have different qualities as mature dogs.  One not better than the other but different.  Of course any line can throw duds, everyone knows that.  In general their are large contrasts between the two. 

The GSD that i perfer would probably end up being PTS in a non working home.  So your average SL dog that can do some work is right up some peoples alley, where as my dog in another persons home may be more of a liaibility.  For example when my female GSD gets exicted she will snap her jaws in a loud clack sound.  If she is happy like this while being 2 inches from your nose then so be it.  I know this about my dog so I dont run into any problems.  But dogs hasve beep PTS for far less.  BTW this is not agression but rather excitement.

But some people may like the looks and in general calmer temperment of the SL dogs.  And they still are GSD it is hard for me not to be partial towards any GSD.  I must admit though that i still dont like the American line GSD.  I think that I would like them a lot better if their name was changed to American Shepherd.

this can't be serious.  are there really folks in the world so narcissistic that they really believe anyone gives a crap what they bash.
