Anyone have a puppy by him? Any trends you have noticed in his puppies? I was going to try to find a litter in the USA by him, but I haven't seen much. He's one of my favorite studs at Jinopo and I think he's a fantastic representation of a working line GSD.

I own his brother, he has produced very civil dogs, I need medium drive females for this dog, or I cant even place the puppies. Female should be small to medium size (lets face it, Reno was over 90 pounds, I am not sure how big Ox is but Orloff is almost 95 pounds, I dont know what you like but working 95 pound DSG is NOT FUN!!! LOL that is why I like them medium size between 75-85 pounds and I know my male produced 95 pound dog and I dont like it at all, so I would be very picky about the size od the female!!! my prefference) with good bone and very good track record of excellent hips from all the sides available to research. I like to breed to small, surefooted agile, solid females that have a little edge to them but not very civil. I look for females with good  deep bite, good structure and good clear head. My male produced rediculous nose.. I am not kidding, the hunt drive on the puppies is fantastic!!!!! However, some puppies ate too civil to do sport, so be carefull how you pick a puppy and what you want your puppy for. Have a very experienced person pick a puppy for you for what you want the dog for and you will be fine.
In the litters I have had, I met them all so far and partially raised one litter, I have kept one puppy behind, one hell of a female, easy to work with dedicated, crazy tracker, nice bite work. One of the puppies I had here would be an excellent SAR dog, loved people, tracked like a pro and was agile and small! his brother I had here vas civil with an attitude of "I will kill you if you try to take that stick from me". Complete opposite. Both puppies had no environmental issues I know I put them on a 6 foot wall and they walked it like they did it 100 times before.
But it is not just the male... you need the right female also! Remember, female is a huge part of the success in breeding!

Happy picking.

Call Hans with Alpinek9 about getting one.  He is partners with Jiri at Jinopo and can pick the right pup for you.
I think Ox has only 2 upcoming litters this year.  One is expected this month and another in April.

GSDPack...I agree the female is crucial in breeding to see what traits she brings to the pairing.

I have a 10 month old out of Jago (Ox's half brother thru Reno)  *RIP Reno*  He should easily be a 90+ dog when he is full grown and he seems small now.  Hans has said that Ox is bigger than Jago.

Yeah a 90+ lb gsd is a lot.  Don't want to have any "come to jesus" meetings with them if it can be avoided.
