i purchased a female for breeding purposes and now the kennel won't even return an answer to my e-mail. they told me when i bought her that the papers would be ready before she comes in season.
she has been bred and will  whelp around the 10th of june. i  sent them 2 e-mails requesting info and they have not answered .
they advertise a lot on here and if i don't get satisfaction i will let it be know who these people are and how they handle things after the sale.

it does take quite a while to the foreign paper work straight, but if it were me i would answer the emails, if I wanted to maintain my good reputation.

The dog bussiness is a shady bussiness, worse than the used car bussiness.  This can happen to any one.

Sable, I always had papers back from 1 to 3 months. I think it has alot to do with how long it takes the breeder to get them filled out and turned in. But there is no excuse for not answering your e-mails.

No excuse for that.  However, even if she whelps you will have no problems as long as you have the date you imported her.

Bhall
Are you saying that with the import date the pups can be papered?

Yes, my female whelped last year (2010) October.  I received her papers in February this year with the change of ownership date of November 2010 even though she arrived in July 2010.  All I had to show to AKC was a copy of the bill of lading.

Well how do they verify the bloodline?

What?  The puppies?   Easy, you have to get the dam DNA certiified before they will register the litter.
