Prices are in Euro, not Dollar. We paid 605.43 at the end of March. I don't know if you get the "Frequent Flyer Discount"? If not, it is 777.99!!! In December, when our Penny came back, we used PetAir but I can't find a price quote anymore. If I remember correctly, it was a little less (I just recently trashed the Bill of Lading). However, that was back in December and fuel prices are going up constantly.
Good luck and please let me know what you end up paying. I have another female to come home when she is titled and bred but that won't be until fall.

Silbersee, this male is Very high priced @ 7,000 Euro. Much too much for my wallet. Breaks down to $10,192 in US dollars not yet Sch 1 dont know about AD & BH. No way am I going that route plus the shipping !!! I have imported many times in the past Adult, 8 months, and welpen but this is the highest I ever received for a 2 yr old male.
Thanking you and Sita and both of you have a happy Easter.  VB

VB,
I know what you are talking about. The rising fuel charges and the dollar loosing ground in comparison with the Euro will prevent good imports from now on. We won't see too many anymore for quite a few years to come.
I have a nice SchH3 KKL1 V-rated male for sale and I am just amazed how out of touch people are with prices. What you are quoting is what I want for our male with all titles and I had responses that it was too much. One so-called "experienced" K-9 importer from Ohio told me that he can get a titled dog for half the price in Europe and I am still waiting for his reply when I challenged him to show me. Unbelievable!
You have a Happy Easter as well!

I have been discussing that with my GF. The Euro is kicking the shit out of the dollar, and it is making it tough for sure. Too bad that dog people are so far apart here and don't get along. Maybe there is a discount on multiple dogs shipping out. I missed out on a real nice puppy bitch due to the difference (euro to dollar) and it is bugging me that there is not some sort of way to make it easier. Stupid economy.

Chris I bought a Sch3 4 years old in 99 for $3,500 - everything including shipping from Germany.
Bought a VA son 8 months old in 2004 for $2,500 USD included shipping.
I think they fully know over there the value of the USD vs the dollar.
Jeff find out who owns Import Blood from Germany in your area, and see what they have available along with the pricing. China people can go over there with large amounts of monies and buy anything they want, and the Germans know that also as many German dogs have been sold to China and India for big amounts. best regards VB
