Just curious who out there has a pup sired by Zico and what your opinions are of the progeny? Be sure to include who the dam is as well.

Contact Cedric Greene in ATL. He was one of the 1st in the US to breed to him. Had a litter a year ago.

I had a zico female pup out of zico & noeska van tiekerhook. She was an awesome puppy. Great drives. Retrieving dumbell at 10 weeks old. I would sit in lounge chair & hold up a ball or the dumbell & she would give an aggresive bark for me to give it to her & ifi didn't give it to her soon enough she would give me a "DIRTY BITE" hard in the stomach...lmao. unfortunately she got an intussusception of the intestine. Had surgery to correct it and 5 days later it did it again. Had to put her down. It broke my heart as she was all I was looking for. I can only speak for her but she an awesome puppy. I have a video of her on youtube retrieving the dumbell at 10 weeks. Just type in "UTA VAN TIEKERHOOK" view it. I am getting a replacement pup soon. Same mother & father is 6x bsp opal von der roderburg. Sincerely. Kurt

I am sorry to hear that. What a shame. I hope the new pup will be what you want.

I am currently inquiring of a pup sired by Zico von der Adelegg. I am not close to the breeder and in the past have only purchased dogs that I was able to see the parents and watch the litter grow so this process is very new to me. I have been trying to gather as much information as possible in order to make an intelligent decision. So far, everything I see and hear appears to be very good. He is a beautiful dog. Did you complete your breeding and are you satisfied?

Me or Cedric? I purchased a Zico pup last fall. The dog in my profile photo. So far she has been a nice pup. She will be 1 in July. She has a lot of prey drive so her focus is a little scattered at this point....but that will settle with time and maturity. She tracks nice, nice calm grip, and has good drive. She has been developing with a nice amount of power it will be interesting to see how she ends up turning out. So in short, I like her.

My friend has a female out of Zicco x Yuma vom Schwartenzwinger, she is very strong and fast. Her structure is very nice as well as her temperament.
