I love my dog to death. He sits with me when I am lonely. He likes to play fetch. He protects the house. and is great with the kids........BUT MY GOD! why must he nibble on my ear when he licks my face. Why does he wait until i am good and sleep and then come lick me in my mouth. Why does he have to pull the covers off of the bed when I am freezing cold. Why does he have to bite my feet all the time.

Falling sound asleep in recliner and have my crazy Ezra leap from 4 feet away and land on my chest to lick me to death. Talk about a wake up call! lol Capri climbing in my lap for a nap, then smiling at her sister (Ezra) if she comes within 5 of us. I have 3 GSD's and a Pitbull. Love everything about them and I do shake my head daily, but with a smile. lol They truly keep me going!

I love how close they want to be to me - everywhere I go, I have an escort(s). BUT why do they have to be so close that when I stop, I literally have a dog or 2 up my butt-like bopping off my butt.

I used to have a male that loved pinning people in the lazy boy chair and slobbering them with kisses! When he had you pinned there was no escape! lol
Let's see....
They love to sneak up behind me while I'm cooking or doing dishes and lay down!!! I vision a broken hip in my future! Have come close many times! lol
Trying to race me when I am running for the phone and then stopping or cutting me off!
My feet take a beating! They are always gouging or ripping my skin off! And I think they made up a new game! It's called Trip/Stub Mommy's Feet With Our Bones!!!!
The slobber dripping ball that is so nicely placed in my lap!
Smelly burps in my face and lastly ...
I have 1 female that loves to bark! A freakin piece of dust could fly off the over head fan and she is on it!!! "Mommy come quick! We have an intruder!" lmao
And as I'm rushing to find out what she is barking about I'm tripping over those damn bones or falling over dogs who are cutting me off! lol
But they are the love of my life!!!!!!!!!!

Why is Ikon convinced that I can not use the bathroom without his assistance?? It started when he was 8 weeks old, and at almost 2 he still insists on sitting between my feet to "guard" me. The Potty Police in action. He's quite upset right now as we have a litter of Siamese Kittens in there... but when I come out he's called in the reserves... Ikon, Demi and Klytie all sitting at attention waiting for me.
He also leaps onto the bed in the AM to greet me, even if I'm asleep. HOWEVER.. If I'm having a migraine or am in bad pain with my back or shoulder he is the most gentle and careful dog you can immagine. Same thing happens when the "Black Cyclone" goes to the Hospital Senior Psych Unit to visit the patients. He very gently rests a paw on their knee and his chin on his paw. How could you NOT love a dog like that... ?? Though I've not shown him in conformation, nor Schutzhund... He's 100% of what a good dog should be.
Oh, I shouldn't leave out the stuffed dog toys he drops into the water bucket, then presents on my keyboard when I'm trying to type! LOL
