I just noticed that the classifieds only has 2 links up? One for search and the other for lastest entries? No other catagory links are up? Just wondering if they are down or if that is something new?

who ever decided to change the classifieds must have been having a real bad day. It is a joke, it was fine before they messed with it, along with alot of other changes on this site. Some things are better left alone.

LOL...I was trying to look through the classifieds yesterday and couldnt find it. Now I see why. Should have kept it like it was.

I used the word search in the new system and it is a nice addition. http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/german_shepherd_dog/classifieds.search?bid=german_shepherd_dog
The only thing moved was the links off the left sidebar, but the system is still alive in the first link.
I guess I do not understand the last few comments, since Oli has given us 2 ways of searching/viewing the classifieds. All the new system does is allow a more refined search. I suggest to all breeders that they use the state listings feature.
Please, let the dust settle on the many changes the site is undergoing, before we draw conclusions on the final product.

I am going to refer to the Classifieds for an example. You have puppies, males amd females all mixed together. DO you really think that someone looking for a puppy is going to want to look through all that stuff. Keeping the males in one section etc. was so much easier. Now it looks like a mess. Sorry but ALL these changes is making this site worse and worse. Also what is with the "all breeds section" when this section is for GSD's only.
Before you get all defensive, I do appreciate all the time people put into this site but like I said "if it ain't broke don't fix it"

The classifieds are not all mixed in...
If you click on "LIST" on the left, it opens them all up, just like it used to by order of most recent.
Across the top you have all of the male/female/puppy/rescue etc.
Then you can also search by location.
AND there is a very nifty "text search" feature.
Pretty cool.

I am not being defensive. You can pick the checkboxes to refine the search. ie. male, female, stud, puppies and so on. It is very simple and does a great job of sorting. Plus the text search is awesome. The old system is still here and the new system can even refine the search more.
