My dog has always been really good and pretty easy to train. We've been training for Sch since she was 6 months. But now that she's 2 it's like a switch turned on and everything clicks now and she is much easier to train and catches on much quicker. Is this a maturity thing and is this common? It feels like it happened over nite, it's actually really cool and I'm very happy about it. Any thoughts? Has this happened to you?

smileyMake that 3 for a showline. And 4 is even more amazing. I love how my dog gets better all the time. He's grown into an able, alert watch dog and the best companion two young boys could want.

Maturity has its benefits!

Beetree I agree. I love when there puppies but for training sakes maturity is awesome. Wierdly my dog is a SL too maybe just an early maturer if that's a word haha.
