My wife has a cousin that has a 6 month old male GSD that is suppose to come from a working line breeder in Florida. Whenever it gets excited in any way it pees. When it gets scolded it pees, when it gets happy it pees. It peed on her husband when it jumped up on him to get petted. Anybody else had this problem and if you did, what did you to to help the poor dog get over it?

wow, my advice would be run as fast as you can back to the breeder and give it back. JMO
This dog has nerve issues, return it and be even more carefull on your replacement. This sounds genetic, there will not be whole lot you will be able to do.

its submission the dog has accepted you as leader but the most common cause of it is you being very rough of a handler. my female did the same thing till she was a year old try just before someone comes over letting him outside so his bladder isnt full or when someone comes into the house ignore the dog it was relly hard to do with kiva but dont make eyecontact anything for about 15 mins till he calms down then try petting this sometimes works othertimes not my best advice to save your carpet have her meet people outside. then come inside after the happy pee is over.
BTW my female is tough as nails she was just my first puppy and i wasent highly knowledgable with her training i had alot of learn. ide say she has a medium threshold. but i had a friend whos SchH3 dog did it as a puppy aswell. they grow out of it. in the wild a wolf will roll over and urinate to the alpha saying im below you you are my boss.
