Hi!
The Irish National Schutzhund Trial (judge Herr Hohmann) and the Irish Sieger Show (judge Herr Goldlust) will be taking place at the same venue over the same weekend (April 29/30, May 1) in Co Louth, hosted by GSA Ireland.
Competitors can enter the trial, the show, or the trial, or both.
The trial will of crown a National Schutzhund (tracking/obedience/protection) Champion and will qualify the dogs and handlers with most points, for the WUSV World Championships 2011 in Ukraine
The show will crown the Irish Sieger and Siegerin - the male and female which pass a courage test and receive the VA1 ratings in the working class.
The five dogs which combine the most points between the trial and the highest gradings in the show ring, will qualify for the Universal Sieger in Austria this summer.
All further details, schedule, times dates etc, and entry forms as well as a welcome booklet can be found via this link:
I understand that the closing dates for entries, as well as the stated training times for protection and obedience, are flexible.
And for all further queries, including travel deal and accommodation deal details - and how to support/sponsor the event - please email info@gsaireland.com or press@gsaireland.com
It should be a very exciting weekend for the breed in Ireland.
