Virgo is having her pups today, so far 7 females & 2 males, she'll probably have acouple more.

I've never bred 2 all sable together and the owner of the stud said I may get some bi-color pups,

I believe 2 of the females are bi-color, it's pretty neat, I thought they were black.

I was somewhat nervous cause I have been feeding the mom complete raw diet from the beginning, and I must say this litter seems pretty active and lively!

Below is # 10 she just had as I was posting this, is is very dark, possible bi-color?

Mirasmom  your puppies are going to be very healthy feeding the mom raw food.  I feed my dog raw food and their teeth, coat and skin are healthy and less vet visits  Good luck on your beautiful litter of puppies.

my finding is that bitches recover much faster after a litter when they are totally on raw food

congratulations on a very healthy looking litter of puppies..

I am also in the process of weaning my new puppy over to raw.. she is looking better already after a few days

My females and puppies fed good-quality kibble food, never raw, whelp without problems, recover perfectly, remain in excellent coat, produce plenty of milk, puppies are healthy, active, and thrive.  Breeding now 18 years always on kibble, never any problems and no more vet bills than normal visits for x-rays or accidental injuries.

A healthy dog on a balanced diet will be healthy no matter kibble or raw.

Congrats on your beautiful healthy litter!  As for if the black puppies are bicolor or not - depends on if one of the parents carry bicolor or not.  Could remain bicolor, or could lighten up and be dark black/tan.  You should be able to tell for sure by 8-12 weeks.

Wow 10:) Congrats on a beautiful litter! Mom looks very content and puppies are beautiful with beautiful coloring!

My last litter i had 2 all black pups at birth and then by about the 2-3 week mark i could see the tan under there tails and paws. They both turned out as bi-blacks. So you may just have them in there yet!
