If having a way of re-charging a GPS Global Micro Chip for dogs is that big of a problem. Why can't they make a dog pad for the dog to sleep on that will do the charging! They have a sticky pad to throw a cell phone on and it will re-charge without being plugged into the wall outlet. This way the battery would be at full charge all the time and sure be there when it is needed to locate a missing dog or other animal.
