Hi Petoasis, I answered your question in the all breeds section. Just keep testing her until you hit the 5.0ng mark which means she has ovulated.  You have not missed the breeding, it is still too soon to breed her. Not all bitches ovulated when we think they should, they can ovulate as early as day 5 and as late as day 27! Good Luck!

1.9 means LH surge.

The time between LH surge and ovulation, although often two days, varies. Some bitches may stay at 2 for any extra day or two. Or stress can cause it to not ovulate.

So you have to test until you get 5.

4 would have been really borderline and hard to decide, but 1.9 is not: test again soon.

Have you had some sort of trouble breeding her in the past ? I have never done this testing, as most stud dogs can tell you for sure. : )  If a bitch doesn't want to breed, or whatever, then they don't get bred.

P-test is necessary if the stud is not available often, and/or can only be bred once by AI or live.

The stud may respond to estrogen and the bitch receptive to decrease in estrogen to allow mating.
