I have bred and raised dogs and horses for over 40 years.  She was a dog jocky.  And excuse me...I understand expenses more then you might think.  Her resscue dogs fund her show dogs and their breedings.  She is in rescue and does none of the neutering or spaying...leaving that expense and responsibility up to the new owner.  I have also done rescue....plenty of it and not with just dogs.  So I understand what it takes to take care of these animals.  She had her own...a couple of rescues....and complained about how hard it was to find good homes.  Gee i wonder why,  And when Foster dogs live a much...less elegant life" then her own dogs lead....You can kinda see the writing on the wall.  I am not cheap...well maybe when it comes to food...lol  I am not cheap.  I know quality animals, and pets can cost money.  I am talking about RESCUE ....supposed to be finding homes for dogs that might other wise be euthinized.  That was the whole idea behind breed rescue.  And I am saying....Be honest about it and call it what it is...."rescue for profit"  Not rescue of the breed" " not rescue to better the quality of the life of the dogs she has in her care.  You might say that if you pay for something you take better care of it.  I will go with that part of the way.  What I am saying...is a lot of terrible and fraudulent things are done in the name of rescue.  And the only way she incurred 850.00 on that dog that day would have been if she shoved gold up its butt.  She had "0" time and money invested in that dog.  Had I taken him I would have been the one doing ALL the Work,,,incurring all the expense....and making sure it really is a pet and doesn't go out and breed.  All she had invested in the dog was a ride home from the shelter to her Gaurage...and her hand out for the cash it might bring.   She just wanted the quick cash and all the rest was up to me.  So after my 850.00 purchase of an unknown dog.  I have to get it shots and get it neutered....and what exsactly did she do.  She lost a good home for a Dog that needed it.  Was he rescued yet...No he is still living in the crate in her gurage eating dry purina dog chow.
