Liver is very rich in certain things like vitamin A.
What do you think daily consumption of beef liver by a 70 pound GSD pregnant bitch is safe?

I would say l/2 cup ground up in the food processor and put on her other food daily would be sufficient. You don't want to over feed her with liver but also ground up heart/kidney/liver l/2-1 cup per day should be good for her. BOL Nan

watch her stools. liver is very rich and doesn't take much to give a dog the runs. maybe alternate the days you feed it........say 2-3 times per wk.

I don't think a daily amount of liver is safe for any dog and most definatly not for a pregnant bitch.
Dogs do not need that amount of liver or Vit A. (They also dont need all the other crap thats pumped into Beef cattle and stored in the liver - I wouldn't touch beef liver myself, nevermind feed it to my dogs)
High doses of Vit A can cause birth defects in developing pups and I for one will never feed liver to a pregnant bitch ever.
