Might be best to put this on the training section, and not on the message board, Dennis? Having said that, I’ve heard you are a genuine trainer. Word gets around.

I can vouch for Dennis' credibility. He is currently training and titling our young female Uschi vom Silbersee for us and he has had our Olympia at his place as well for training and breeding.
Pia will come home next week, in whelp by V-Marin zur Krombach, Dennis' awsome young new competition dog.
Thank you, Dennis!!!!
Regards, Chris

I had to resurrect this old thread to let you all know what a great trainer and handler Dennis is besides competing with his various dogs on the regional and national level and being one of the helpers in the 2007 BSP!
He took our young homebred Uschi vom Silbersee from Zero to SchH1 in 2 months!!
My husband handed Uschi over to Dennis in Germany on February 13! When Uschi went to Germany, she was totally green - no obedience, no show training, nothing! The only thing we knew is that she had drive and bit well into the puppy tug! She was only socialized around the horse barn we frequent and people, besides the occasional trip to Petsmart! For her, going to Germany and seeing all these different places, training fields, and events was like a child being introduced to the big wide world! A week after he got her on the 20th, Dennis showed her for her SG-rating in the youth class where she also beat a couple of showlines! Not bad for a black working girl with a lil white blaze on her chest! The consensus was that she does not run, she glides - a workingline dog with an outstanding gait!
Now almost exactly two months later, I get the news that she got her SchH1 with a high SG score (93-95-94=282)!
Dennis, congratulations! You rock! I hope that you will train many more Silbersee dogs in the future!
Anybody who knows us knows that we do not make these recommendations lightly, but this is a time, where I feel that I have to speak up! I can wholeheartedly recommend Dennis who speaks English well! He is also available for seminars I heard!!

Thanks for the delightful description of Uschi vom Silbersee. Sure would be nice to see a picture, to go along with it!
Sounds like Dennis did a great job for you.

Hi there, Beetree! Yes, Dennis did a great job with Uschi (and continues to do so since she is not finished yet) but his reputation surely speaks for him!
As to photos of Uschi, I will need to tell Dennis to get some done. We only have snapshots of her from February 2010 when we had blizzard week here around Washington DC (everything was closed for almost a week). Back then, Uschi was barely 5 months old. She and her two sisters were born on 9-11 (2009) out of Chuckie's last litter. Chuckie certainly was a foundation bitch for me as well as some of her daughters were for a couple of workingline kennels in Germany.

Could not resist posting the last photo of her playing with our Gibsie who passed away suddenly 4 months later of cancer.

I LOVE Dennis's dogs and from the sound of it he's a good traniner too - If I ever send one of my dogs overseas for training & titles it would be to him.

sibertree, what is his rates?

by Silbersee on 27 April 2011 - 15:04
sable,
that is something you should to ask him yourself, isn't it?
Either through his homepage or his email address rohde@tjaernshaget.de
Good luck with your dog!
Dawgsome,
I agree about Dennis' dogs. We were unfortunately not able to use Neck vd Woelfen, before he left for England but certainly took the opportunity to breed to his new competition dog Marin zur Krombach. We just had our litter on Friday and like what we are seeing.
Sitasmom,
thanks. She is a special dog for us. Has to be, since she is a 9-11 baby!
