On March 30, Peter Zervas, owner of the Blue Comet diner in Hazelton, will stand before a judge to face charges for animal cruelty.
Zervas is accused of the unthinkable. An deplorable kennel operation was discovered on his property in February.
The conditions inside of the building that the dogs were housed were reprehensible - three of the German shepherds perished inside of the dungeon-like kennel.
One of the dogs discovered weighed just 30 lbs. Initially, it was thought that the body was that of a 4 month old puppy. Rescuers were shocked when his true age of 8-10 years was determined.

i just viewed the photos , I will be mailing my letter tomorrow morning !!!!! The sad part about it , is that he will probably walk away with a fine and as usual no jail time .... although he deserves to rot in jail !!!! just like those poor dogs did !!! If he does get jail time ( I pray he does ) I hope his cellmates are preferably some big burley animal loving men !!!!!

No, that is not him .. the Pete Zervas you googled is from Sydney, Australia and a member of the Hells Angels Australia . His brother Anthony was killed at the Sydney Airport a couple years ago in gang fight.
