For those who like to look at films, this is a 6 month old male.  Please excuse the quality (analog films taped onto an iMac and photographed with a timer).  These are not being submitted, just having a look-see.

Hips look good.  Best of luck  NAn  (PS:  I don't read elbows, sorry)

Nice and round and pretty tight for a young one, too. Keeping fingers crossed that they don't change.

Oh, and elbows look ok, but I am not anywhere near as competent on elbows as I am on hips.

Looks  good, keep the dog nice and skinny for the next 18 months!

Don't mean to hijack here, but has anyone had good x-rays at 6 months of age, then drastically different results at  24 months?

Not me....but if that did happen, I would place my money on environment. True genetic HD is a developmental problem, and should begin to show itself by 6mos. This is little consolation to the devastated owner who had hopes of breeding and now cannot certify the dog though.

jenni in europe if our pup has got an x ray at 12 months can we include that in his pedigree?

Depends on where in Europe....if you're registering through the SV, then yes, they certify at 12mos. Since I'm in the US, I'm not the best one to ask;-)

if they certify at 12 months in europe can we bring over that certification to the AKC pedigree or will it not exist on it?
