This is Theo von Ryan's half-brother "Thor", same mom different dad.
I remember him as he was the last of nine pups, and the lady that came to look at him wondered why he was not picked yet, why is he the only one left, what's wrong with him.
Well, I told her, sometimes that's how it goes, there is always going to be one last pup looking for his new home.
Well I saw her at puppy class months later, and he was giving her a hard time and I told her I would take him back if it did not work out, but to please be patient and give him some time to prove himself.
Within just a few weeks I noticed a big difference in her pups behavior, and also noticed how she was so intent to make it work.
I just got a recent e-mail like the many before it, she has the most well-rounded stable dog I've ever seen, she has nothing but good things to say about Thor, I am even amazed, and I am finding out from different people I meet that if they take the time to train a dog themselves as hard as this lady did, it's going to pay off!
This is her dog at my house as a pup before she visited, and this is Thor meeting and greeting all sorts of people that pass by his yard, that day it was the recycling truck!
(Where'd he get a thing for trucks, anyway!)
