Jimmy Vanhove seminar this weekend ! ! ! ! - Page 1

 I am pretty excited to have my friend come and work with us. Got a lot of work done on the field, and have some good friends and soon to be new friends coming to train, and learn with us.

I will get some video, so you guys can see some GSD working, maybe even throw some video of the pups in there. Stupid camera is having some sort of emotional issue with my re-writable discs, so we went out and got some new discs. Took way to long, and brilliantly I forgot several times when I was in town. This country living is not what I am used to. 

Going to be GREAT ! ! ! ! ! !

If you're thinking about going, go. This is a VERY talented decoy and I really enjoyed watching for day at a seminar a few weeks back.

Where and when is this?

 It is this weekend. It is east of San Antonio.

Jimmy is working with decoys and dogs and it is 75 a day. All proceeds are his, for expenses. He is a very correct decoy, and I am really impressed with his skill at teaching good solid basic skills.

This was the first seminar I have put on, and it was great. Really good work, good times, good food.

I did get a good turnout.

I wish guys like this would be invited to Toronto but then again we have no clubs  like that here.Brother Jeff,some video PLEASE.

 I am uploading some video, but it is slow, thanks to having to live in the country. : )

The dogs improved, and I had a really good time. I hope to have Jimmy back sometime soon. 

The difference in training is very apparent, as much of what they do is taught by the decoys, and much of what we do (out of necessity) is done ourselves.  

It has been a long time since I was able to just work my dog and not have to explain what I wanted to the decoy. THere was some really good stuff, mostly minor things that they add much sooner than I have seen. The minor stuff was really solid, and I am adding much more to my training. 

If you can get to see Jimmy sometime, for sure make the drive. It will be worth it.

Had a full house all weekend, and man, I had a good time. Even the pups got to go and play with Jimmy a little.
