Can someone give me an opinion on what dog food they feel is best or most healthy for a 2 yr old GS? There are reasons, that I am unable to give a total raw meat diet. So I am looking for suggestions on types of dry food and kibble that would be a healthy alternative.......

I like to feed Taste of the Wild Wetlands or 4Health Lamb and Rice which can only be found at a Tractor Supply.

Hello,
I understand many would not be able to feed a raw food diet..however if you would like to share why, I might be able to help. I have read countless books on this, as well as articles and there are just some dogs who may not do good on a certain ingredient..or maybe your dog will just not accept raw meat?
Anyways, as you may already know, kibble is not that great, even if it's the best one possible. If you provide us with some insight on your dog that might help. Is he very active? More laid back? Are you involved in sports, or are you just always on the go taking your dog almost everywhere and involved in many things? Does your dog have a problem right now, such as loose stools or flaky skin? Some dogs may require more protein, others may not..so it's best to figure your dog out.
The best advice I can give is to type on Google: dog food analysis. It will tell you why the dry ones are considered the best, why some are ok, the bad ones, and the worst. It's a very helpful guide and the best part is is that it explains why it was rated that way, and which ingredients caught their eyes as bad.
Also keep in mind, even the premium dog foods may not work for every dog. For example, I know some dogs(even cats) who get loose stools from Blue Buffalo, which is rated very good, while others do exceptional on it. You have to try things out.
Another thing would be is to try homecooking if you like. It's very good as you can also see exactly what goes in, but it is challanging as you might have to use supplements, and you have to count the calories, as well as the ratios between the meat and whatever else you are using. Remember, cooked and raw foods contain different calories as well as nutrients.
One thing I would also advise is to not mix meat and kibble. It is hard for the dog to digest both at the same time. You can read more about it. You can also PM me if you would like.
Have a great night!

I tried Taste of The Wild Pacific Stream and our GSD threw up on it. We feed Chick Soup For The Dog Lovers Soul Large Breed in the morning and raw deer at night. Seems to work fine.
