as opposed to the male topic , there are females that produced 4 or 5 litters and produced 4 5 or more great dogs , a percentage that no male dog will achieve
your chances of gtting a quality dog out of such females is much , much bigger than getting a soso bitch bred to a male of reputation
ill start with a few that I know of
haska v karthago
xanthippe blommerschot
odeta z danaru
cher billy trpaslik

I agree with you Duke,
Not just in dogs but horses as well. One of the best breeders of Quarter horses here in the states was a man from Colorado named Wisecamp. He would always every year bring in filly colts into a large corral where he had a big tower in the middle and would set up there for hours and watch these fillys run around so he could select what he kept. He said he always was more consumed with his selection of females than males. One of his sayings was show me a great horse and I'll show you a better female that produced it. All my life i have always found that to be true. I am particular about stud dogs, but I'm almost a nut when it comes to my females.

I have an affinity for Baghira Cega in a pedigree. But I dont think she produced that many. I also like Fenga Kirschental.

From the offspring listed here, no Chuna did not produce bad hips. She produced small litters though.
The most notable dog that she did produce was Norbo Ben Ju. I love that dog.

The best thing about this female is she has consistantly produced super pups in every litter she has had, I am not talking about repeat breedings either, all with diff. males. Super bitch indeed.
