Would like to have an oppinion on linebreeding 4-4 on Ursus.

I am very happy with keeping Ursus close ...
however the close linebreeding I have done that produces so well has to do with the dogs at hand======= Mother and Father... They produce and just because a dog or bitch has Ursus back in a 4th generation does not indicate they will produce equally as well.
Further more major influence from the mother and enviorment can play a big role inover all outcome...so you know use the pedigree as a tool.
Over Generalization on certain names in a pedigree that some folks may or may do is not going to help make good breeding choices or selectiions of dogs.
Examine and think hard about a pedigree...but LOOK and evaluate the parents and the puppy or dog itself without letting the paper CLOUD your mind.
t I do love Ursus influence and Ursus bear type dogs :)
