PSA/Schutzhund - DE, PA, NJ, MD - Page 1

I apologize if this is not the right place to ask but I live in upper Delaware, about 45 minutes from Philly and well I am looking for someoneo train with, a helper (maybe even a boyfriend too jk) that isn't so far away or could meet me half way, I can do some helper work just not for very long and not too intense, so if anyone knows anyone who trains and lives close to Wilmington DE within 45 minutes, I'd greatly appreciate the connection, I love meeting new people.  I know there is the club in PA but I'd like to keep things informal and fun while training, and a few guys in Milford but it's so far away and I think they are mad at me, I was supposed to show up a few times and something always went wrong then I got really sick

I am all the helper you will ever need.

Check out "DelMarVa Working Dog Group in Harrington, De./Gaines farm. Not too intense. Good people. Relaxed enviroment. Three of us started it a few years back I had a death in the family and work load was intense so I had to drop out of the picture a for few years.Miss it and miss them.  But I have two more dogs since then and my pup I think will need a little more than just explosives. Co-Ownwers are my buds, Howard Gaines and Andy Larrimore. We were all police officers, and Andy is the K9 officer at my last station. Howard has two Bouviers (?) and his male has to be one of the most civil dog I have seen with my own eyes! "ROCK'. And Andy's police K9, "Ivan", a Rott , we just call him Damien!. Check out their website and maybe you can start there? At least check it out? Sundays I want to say 0700/0800 -1100/1200 hrs. Depending on how many dogs?  Maybe I'll start up again? Good Luck.

I have 6 dogs right now, only 4 are Shepherds and 1 is for sale, I  had 2 for sale but decided to keep one, I know 2 guys that train in Milford, was looking to find somewhere a little closer but looks like an hour is as good as it gets!  I've been really sick the past month so I never got to go train with these guys, you probably know them.

I'm in Easton, Md. and sometimes we train down here in Talbot County. Off the top of my head I can't remember where Milford is in conjuction with Harrington/Felton or Easton? What;s the dog your selling and why? Pup? Sorry you're ill. Plenty of Nyquil

I sent you a private message, I do not believe the people I know have been there.  I already sent an e-mail out to one of the guys, I need to start training again, got really sick and just stopped, Alexa also had her upper canine tooth removed, I've had her bite some soft jute and she has done fine, has nice full grips, but she needs to be on a sleeve, I have a chance  to buy one pretty cheap but I'm limited with money right now, Christmas and all.

Good thread! I'm in Brooklyn Park, MD and would like info on this as well.

There is a PSA event in Baltimore MD the end of May. Another in NJ the middle of June and Regionals is the end of September in NJ.

 Is anyone here thinking about attending?
