kennel name registration

I have a kennel name. How do I go about registering the name, or do I have to register the name.

Also, if I register my litters with the AKC, does my kennel have to be registered. I guess I'm asking, is it necessary to register????

If you are talking about the AKC then there is a form you can download off their website, fill it out and pay a fee and send it in. Very simple.
