New here! Question about my possiblt GS...

(Totally misspelled possible, lol)

Hey everyone! I've always wanted to join a GS forum, but couldn't find a good one. I've been a member of Glider Central (sugar glider forum) for over a year now and it's awesome!

Anyway, I adopted my dog, Milla, from a shelter over 4 years ago and couldn't be happier with her. She's the best dog ever (to me anyway, lol). The lady at the shelter said she was a GS and that one of her parents was a white GS. I was just curious if that's what she looked like to you guys. Not that it matters, I won't love her any less. Just curious.

We can't see enough of her to make an educated guess. Can you down load some pics of her standing from the side. It's hard to tell from just the nose (LOL) She looks like a GSD cross to me...maybe GSD/Mali. You can certainly tell by these pics that she is an abosulute sweetheart. Enjoy her. And welcome!

My very first gsd had similiar coloring. He looked sable as a pup, but turned out more blonde w/a faint saddle. I'll see if I can dig up an old picture.

She does look like she has GSD in her mixed. But she looks much more like a rare bred dog called, Chinook.
http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/chinook.htm depending where you adopted her, some area have more of this breed than others. If not I would same GSD X Huskie / Collie or mix of all 3. Most likely a solid white Huskie because of her coloring. It's hard to say without seeing a standing shot & knowing her behavior / temperament.

I just wanted to thank everyone for their responses. I've thought from the very beginning that she wasn't a full blood GSD. I really wish I had the $80 for the DNA test, but I don't, lol. I have to agree with cphudson, she's really reminds me of a Chinook in some ways.

Here a couple more pictures of her from the side and of her body. Sorry, but they're the best ones I could find.
