I have a young workinglline female and I have recently gotten involved with SAR training. The training chief chose to start training her as an air scent dog. She has always shown lots of prey drive and seems to be a natural in this work. I'm looking forward to posting updates of her future success.

P.S.
Would SAR CERTIFICATION be considered a respectible title to determine breed worthiness
I hope so. To me that is seems to show versatility but I am no expert and this is a good thread so I hope my response gets other experienced folks involved. Good luck with your female. She looks very nice.
I would breed a SAR Certified dog if Certified by a National Organization such as NASAR or FEMA and the owner could show me proof the dog has been called out and active. I would also have to know the dog and evaluate the temperament prior to making an assessment (as I would any dog, I guess).
You may also consider attaining her BH and then her RH Title. Then you will have no question as to the breed worthyness (as well as Hips/Elbows/Conformation of course).

Our team does both NSAR and Fema certifications for both dog and handler. I
also since my dog is doing air scent, I'm not sure if the RH title wll suite her well. From understanding RH is similiar to FH or a type of trail/or tracking
Here's a link to RH info: http://ogbierstadt.blogspot.com/2008/09/what-is-rh.html
I think SAR cert under an umbrella like NASAR is good and all, especially if you get SAR Tech3, but I think breed survey is important to keep lines in check. Which means you'd need a BH, AD, and atleast Sch1 or IPO1 title if I remember right. I could give a flying flip about RH, SAR testing under NASAR and FEMA is better.
Hellava pedigree on that dog. SAR definately puts the dog in the working catagory. Not for nothing the breed survey is nice but not really stressed in the USA. How many SL VA and V dogs have a breed survey? All of them! I would not breed a single WL dog to a SL, JMO. Herding or SAR dog that is proven, just shows the versatility, hardiness and true temperment of the breed. If possible I would stay in touch with the breeder to see what paths the litter mates are taking. Just something else to mention if you do decide to breed your girl. Good luck in your endeavour. You are starting off with a class A pedigree.

@k9mom.Thank you for the link. I only knew about one part of the RH title. The NSAR and FEMA certification seem to be more recognized among the SAR community.
@kyle. It's been a few months but i try to keep up with her breeder. One of her half siblings Asko von der Thomas (http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/german_shepherd_dog/pedigree/591778.html) participates in schutzhund with the Central Alabama Schutzhund club. The few times I saw him he looked excellent. look forward to seeing updates on his success as well.
In reference to sarmoms comment
, I have a well bred urban certified dog, under FEMA standards (now retired) who has bred some litters.
I revceived many inquiries asking why i don't have a schutzund title on my dog. This dog has "A" stamped hips,Sch B, has been deployed many times and is also a working therapy dog. If that is not a working dog what is?
Several people with nice sch. titled bitches inquired asking when i would put more Sch. titles on him. they stated "would have bred if he was a Sch. 3"
Oh well, there are some nice sar puppies out there.
