I remember him as belonging to Judy at Alt Ostland, and only having a USA show rating.

Just to make sure you know, "ZW" wouldn't be a title. You'll want to do a keyword search for HD-Zuchtwerte (ZW Breed Value) to see how those are calculated. Yello and a couple siblings are acutually rated at ZW 78, while a couple other siblings that have presumably produced offspring under the SV have been reassigned ZW scores of 87 and 88.
I would insist seeing the scorebook on that dog if I were you.
I owned a daughter of Sando, a half sister to Yello, until I rehomed her last December at age five. She never did work out in schutzhund for me, but did attain some skills in AKC herding.

Yello obtained his SchH1 (or VPG-1) here through USA. His SG show rating was obtained in Germany on 9 November 2003 at Bad Fallingbostel. He was not eligible for a V rating at the time because he was not SchH titled at the time of the conformation show, and was showing in the jugendklasse. He was later shown at an International Dog Show, where he received multiple V-1 ratings and his International Championship. Anyone truly interested is welcome to see his scorebook, his ScvhH1 certificate, his German Show rating card (Bewertungsausweis)and his International Conformation Champion certificate.

Darylehret, who was the dam to the dog you re-homed? Unfortunately not all dogs are home runs. Picking puppies is also a crap shoot. We put the best sire with who we believe will be the best dam and keep fingers and toes crossed. Raising a working puppy is a bit of a skill. Its easy to to ruin a pup. I'm not saying any of that was your issue. The dog could have been sh*tter out of the box. But thanks again for your input.

I agree with Daryl Ehret on this one. I believe Sando had offspring with testicle problems. Check his score book.He may have stopped at a sch 1 because that is all he had. Do a search on Yello on the PDB
there has been talk on here before.

KYLE, I'm not sure if I'm reading you the way you intend to come across, but I was nonetheless very pleased with that girl. http://www.ehretgsd.com/sasha.html I also raised a full brother of hers to a year old, who I did not keep. http://www.ehretgsd.com/riddick2335.jpg
I know full well how it goes, she wasn't my first or only dog. I've had so many disappointments or total failures for one reason or another that I really don't keep count. So of course I know it happens all the time, for many reasons, and to nearly everyone at least once. It's all relative to where you want to set the bar of standards. And I'm certainly not without "skill" in raising pups!
In your opening post, you stressed emphasis on the work (assuming you mean SchH), so I'm saying don't be too hopeful about being impressed, much less satisfied with the results you find. If you don't like my answer, then by all means, proceed without caution!

maybe he ddn't go further in titles because he was intended on being a puppy prducer? or maybe cause he has no teeth left? ask Norben gsd, they can tell you about Yello
