Tracking with Distraction - Page 1

I took my 9 month old pup tracking today, and had some unexpected distractions.  As the track is being put down a couple of kids on motorcycles show up and drive all over the track and even circle the track layer.  I decided to go ahead and see how Max would do.  When he got out of the vehicle he gave the motorcycles a quick glance and then did his circle and located the track.  He locked on and ran the whole track (400 yards) paying no attention to the two motorcycles buzzing around us within about 15 feet.  After the find, Max finally paid some attention to the motorcycles.  His response was just one of curiosity.  He trotted towards them with his ears pricked forward showing no aggression and no fear.  I was very proud of my boy today.
