We have just had a distraught owner at our door, he has been way on holiday leaving his dog with his bother in law and the dog has got lost.
She is a 10 year old all black bitch called Jan, both her ears are up but apparently quite soft, she has gone missing from Dunscroft near Doncaster in South Yorkshire but was last spotted near Thorne heading towards Goole
If anyone has any information on this girl please contact the owners

Could you tell me when she went missing, as there is a couple near to us that have just taken in a dog from the local rescue in the last few days - fits that description exactly, and even is timid, but harmless. Mo.

Oh dear, This girl got to the new home Sunday and was in the rescue for 7 days before - how sad this is. Please keep us informed. Has this man tried local news, TV local news will report on it if eggs it up, aged, frail etc., and harmless, loads will be on the look-out for her. Also local radio. Who cares what the owners says to get the interest and publicity as long as he is reunited. Mo.

It was seen last night in the Thorne area of South Yorkshire so fingers crossed she is hanging around, please if anyone has any info contact the owners, needless to say they are in a state

Not sure about dog lost but they have been in touch with police and all rescue centers

How long was the owners away on holiday ??? perhaps the brother in law is frightened to say the dog has been lost longer just a thought that the dog peggy is talking about could be the same dog however good luck hope you find the dog safe and sound
