This is one of the most anticipated weekend in the working GSD community. Yet the only thing posted comes from Videx (thank you for listing those addresses to obtain up to date info). No chatter about who might win. Nothing about what kennels or studs will b represented heavily. This speaks volumes about the direction of this forum. No talk about how a woman earned the top spot and the only total V score. How is it that there is no talk about the top finishing dogs that will get heavy stud play? Which in turn may have positive or negative influence on our GSD. Man, where has the passion for competiton gone?

No one cares here any more because the people who would care have been run off by the BS and lack of quality discussions...........they're out training their dogs!

Hi Kyle,

I for one was hoping to see Leon there.
I read somewhere a few months ago that he might have been.
I also thought it was interesting that there was only 1 v (and a woman)
Maybe the judging was tough this year.
Since I could not go I was also hoping to hear some first hand info.
All I can do is to wait for some videos to show up at this point.

I am just patiently waiting for someone to start posting videos of the 2010 BSP over on YouTube. Just sitting and waiting.... Always seems like it takes forever, but it doesn't - I'm just not as patient as I think I am.

Regarding the fact that there are fewer "v" scores:

On another board, I read an interview on the green board with Johannes Grewe, in which he says the SV has decided that in past years, too many "v"s were handed out at the BSP, and as a result, the Judges are cracking down with sharper pencils. It's a very good interview and if anyone is interested to read it, here is a link, but you do have to be a member to read it, however joining is very simple!
