The Kennel Club
should now seriously consider changing
Clause 9 of the "GSD undertaking"
this currently reads as follows:

9. The Club confirms that it will act in good faith with the Kennel Club on all matters including confirmation that it will not, without the express permission of the Kennel Club, run any events under the rules or regulations of any organisation other than the Kennel Club.

The Kennel Club should consider adding the following sentence:

The only exception being that events run under the rules or regulations of the WUSV, then the Club are only requested, out of courtesy, to inform the KC of any future proposed dates when these events will be held.

Such a change could trigger a major improvement in the relations between the Kennel Club and the GSD community here in Great Britain.

Don't you mean it might trigger an improvement with the clubs who are now beginning to realise they have dropped a b*llock in not signing because people will still go to other club's shows who have signed? 

Perhaps, just perhaps, if everybody agreed to sign the KC argreement they would not now be offering concessions along the lines they refused to do originally

Or is that to simple to understand??

Thank You Lennard for your voice of reason and common sence. This is precisely what I had logged on here to say.

Doppleganger, it takes all sorts to make a world, some are Strong, some are Weak, some are Brave enough to Stand Up for what they believe is right whilst others lurk like snivelling cowards in the shadows. Some are prepared to sacrifice everything for what they believe is RIGHT, whilst others want everything and even take everything but only on the back of the sacrifices of others. This unfortunately is the way of the World, it is a World  I have lived in the whole of my life and I have never known it to be any different and I was fully aware of the fact that the GSD in GB would only see some benefits from the KC if there were those amoungst us Strong and Brave enough in adversity to stand against them, only by being prepared to sacrifice what the KC think of as their precious CC;s would the GSD Community be able to make a BIG ENOUGH NOISE to make the KC listen.
I AM PROUD to be a member of a Club that MADE A DIFFERENCE, I AM PROUD of our STANCE, that we stuck to our PRINCIPLES by first and foremost putting the Health of our Breed before the show award status offered by our draconion Kennel Club.
 
IF, the stance we took now means the KC are going to do more for our Breed, then Great, I FOR ONE WOULD CERTAINLY NOT CONSIDER OURSELVES THE LOSERS HERE, for one thing is ABSOULTELY CERTAIN, If it hadnt been for those of us prepared to SACRAFICE then without a shadow of a doubt ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WOULD HAVE CHANGED.

As for having both, personally I dont think any Committee have either the time nor the inclination to run both types of shows. This way we can ALL benefit from attending the KC CC shows we want to attend, whilst now having the opportunity of attending WUSV type shows. When it comes to one or the other, I know which type of show I would rather spend my time and effort organising and holding for the exhibitor, for apart from promoting a Healthier GSD they also give us more freedom to exhibit our breed how we believe they should be exhibited.
 
People now have a choice, they can choose to attend both, surely thats having the best of both worlds, so you see  Doppleganger in my opinion the only person dropping their b*llocks here are the likes of you who are too stupid to comprehend the significance of what these Strong, Brave Clubs (who didnt sign) have done for this breed and furthermore you are still too ignorant to realise NONE OF US REGRET IT, NOT FOR A SINGLE MOMENT.

Remember if you had stuck to your so called principles !you would not have bred a certain female but sure who cares you are all as corrupt as each other & too think this female even with her problem made british siegerin ! Says alot about the whole system ! So away & slag off some other organisation & their so called principles

The green eyed monster raises its head again. I pity you No Fear, jealousy must be an awfully sad condition to have to live with, especially as there is no cure for it.
