I recently purchased a female who has had two litters of puppies prior to my purchase of her. She was everything I’d been seeking for my male Czech Import with only one problem….no OFAs. Now, the female is four, whelped two litters, is there going to be a noted difference in her OFA results versus what they would have been at 24 months and never having given birth?
Anyone OFA a female AFTER she’s had pups and care to share your results with me?
I am concerned that she might get Fair or Mild due to having pups if she’d been Good prior to pups. Is this a justified concern or just worries from overhearing talk?
Thank you in advance for any answers, suggestions, or comments.

Did your female have a czech breed survey done? Did you check the back of your export pedigree? I pretty sure you can't breed pedigreed dogs with out one and part of that requirment is hip x-rays rated by the SV or FCI. If I'm wrong please forgive me, but that's my understanding of the system there.

Sorry to be confusing, my MALE is the Czech Import and he's been OFA (good/normal).  My female was born in the US and is from imported Czech and DDR lines.  Sorry about that.
Thanks,

My Female  OFA as good even though she had had a litter of pups before she got x-rayed . just make sure it is about 2 months after she had them and about 2 months before or after she comes into heat

If the dog has non-dysplastic hips, they won't show up as dysplastic--if xrays with dysplasia in her hips, it's not because she had puppies. The OFA does factor in age when reading x-rays, so normal wear and tear should not be a concern.
