how can you find out who the breeder was by the dogs name for example - Mika vom Wallerhorst.

It is not Wallerhorst, but Waellerhorst (the umlaut, the two dots over the a). The breeder's name is Dieter Tisberger and here is his homepage: zwinger-v-waellerhorst.cabanova.de/ .

I am German and I know the kennel name (because of Dennis Rohde's dog Miro Waellerhorst). All I did was a google search for the kennel name and I came up with the homepage, voila. LOL! Thank god for google.
Oh, and you are welcome, lol.
P.S. If a breeder does not have a homepage or does not come up with a google search you would have to check the SV genetics (payable subscription from the SV).
