I was wondering if people could post some pictures of their black sable pups and their adult photos. Just wondering if they tend to lighten up as they age or do they get darker? I have two black/reds and they definelty got lighter as they matured I wondered if it was the same for the sables.
Thanks so much,
Amy

As you can see he became very light for about 3 to 4 weeks, then got much darker at 17 weeks, and even more darker-prominent markings at 6 months. The dam was a carrier of the black gene so that may have something to do with it - but the sire was black/tan only. Anyhow, heres some pics that you wanted. I'm interested to see others
