Border Union Show - Page 1

Was anyone at this show yesterday,only 26 dogs shown?
Looking at the names of the dogs shown it looks like the majority were Alsatian types.

Makes a mockery of being a  Champion - 29 dogs there as far as I can see - 2 of whom got the ticket!  From the pictures I've seen very few if any of the top placed dogs would be able to do 2 laps of a WUSV show at a fast gait, let alone a day's work!

 Are there pictures anywhere?

 Oh, pity.  I had hoped to see what had been put up - hear the judging was a bit poor.

Well, what a bloomin joke, i'm not going to make any comments about the BOB as the fact that he got BOB is comment enough.
The judge only had 20 dogs to go over in total, but it did not matter at all if we had all gone as the Dog CC had been chosen a long time a go. This dog will now get his 2nd CC under his mate, wearing the white suit that apparently gave him a lift to the show and stood guard over him, Mr N Ibbottson. Before you all start saying that these judges can't get the entries it's not because the dogs are not out there it's because we have just had enough of this, if you win it should always and ONLY be on the dogs merit this is so blantantly not the case. I was not at the show and i most certainly did not enter under him, the information was given to me by those who did. I do not own a German bred dog but please don't judge me because of this, i know a few of you on here and i have never posted before but i'm so angry that something so bloody blatant happens so often.

I see the Puppy Bitch was withheld - let me guess, was it a Germanic type?  Thats what they normally do from 'the other side'.  Shame about Richmond, pup would have been just old enough but I can stay at home and be insulted! 

By the way, its not just in GSD's, in my other breed judging was the same, only 19 entered and the same person got BOB and BP, foregone conclusion and why she only had 19!   None of the top winners from the past year bothered to enter.  This is the third time this judge has given the same person the CC and BOB with three different dogs.
