kens website is http://www.canineworkshop.net/
sorry, posted the wrong link

also, www.dornburg.com used to train with Laurie and her dogs are exceptional,  very smart knowledgeable trainer too.

v Ledda is also a good breeder, forgot about them.

and I believe Eurosport is in the San Antonio or Houston area.

Eurosport k9 is located in Brady Texas. I believe that is 2 hours from Austin.

Considreing the term "driving distance" is relative...I will recommend Meerhout.  Jessie and Rob know their stuff and have some nice looking working line dogs in their program.

Loyal Heart German shepherd  at loyalheartgsd.com

My pup is from there and he is showing great drives at 5 months.

nothing wrong with some north Texas breeders, not when they or their dogs are always on the winning podium, and they've been to the world trials ect.

Dornburg has several TOP dogs in South america, germelhaus has always had some nice high scoring dogs, fernheim has great tracking and good all around dogs, Ken White has had a world champion from his breeding and many regional winners, Meerhout needs no saying, same with von Ledda, ect.

Uber Land, I totally agree with the Fernheim's being very good trackers.  :)
