I would appreciate comments on this plate. The subject is a 6 month old GSD female who will be eventually scored under the BVA system. Thanks in advance.

I'm trying to learn how to read them so take it with a grain of salt...but I think the hips look good...the femurs look like they are narrowing oddly. Could just be the age and I wouldn't know why they are doing that or if it is normal...just never noticed it before...possibly because I just look at the femur head & hip socket. Anyone else care to enlighten me?

The right hip (on the left in the pic) doesn't look good, it's more than halfway out of the socket, and that's not good since she's so young. the left hip looks OK.

Fair at best; right hip does not look very good, out of socket more than half. Left hip looks OK.
