gsd travels,
                  first, i wish to apoligize to you, i know you were only trying to help and so was i , i was angry and upset when i sat down to write that post, in no way am i trying imply that you did anything wrong, with that out of the way i will also add that all i have been thinking about since i read your original post is what that poor gsd must be going thru, being a member of a family for six years than having her whole life turned upside down for reasons she can't comprehend, add the fact that the owners went to see her while she is being imprisoned, thinking she was going home again, then left there, then dragged to peoples homes to be rejected again, how in the hell is she supposed to act when brought into a strange home with a dominant lab female that's protecting her turf, all this taking place while i'm sitting here waiting for a phone call that still hasn't come from the 2nd woman, your friend did call and leave a message that she is highly offended at my remarks i made on here and she is demanding a apology, hope she doesn't hold her breath, tough shit is all i say, supposedly the dog now is being kenneled at a rescue place in elverson pa, i will not have any more to do with the cat people, either one of them, but i can't stop thinking about the gsd so tomorrow i am going to try and track down the place where she is being kept, it's about 1 hours from me, if i am successful i will try to go see the dog myself along with my friend who was going to provide a loving home for her, he is now becoming skeptical because  he has a elderly cat who is accustomed to living with dogs, and we were told the gsd was also familiar  with cat's as she lived with 2 of them, i am going to take my Gundo with us to see for ourselves how the dog interacts with him, if they let us, he is a 6yr old male ddr-gsd who loves and gets along with everyone including my friends cat, my cockatoo rides on his back and the squirrels in my yard play with him, he has never in 6 yrs ever had a problem with any animal or person for that matter, my friend will make his own evaluation and decide wheather he wants to give it a try, how anyone can expect 2  strange animals to get along like busom buddies immediately is beyond my comprehension, in spite of the ignorance on the part of the woman running this deal we are going to make every effort to help this dog, i just hope we are sucessful as it is eating me up thinking what that poor female is going thru.

Just floors me when you try and help and get kicked in the teeth. What happened to check your ego at the door and think of the Dog. Congrats to you Moonlite for hanging in there, and GSDtravels for lending a hand!

Thank you Moonlite, I appreciate that.  I also have an update on Heidi.  Carol called me this morning and told me she has placed Heidi with a retired LEO and he is ecstatic!  I was in a bind trying to get to work through the marathon and was swearing at a cop so had to cut the call short.  I will call her tomorrow and get the whole story but thought you'd like to know.  Carol is an acquaintance who was a relative of the original owners of my house (that my x2b now resides in) and I visited with her when I was on the road.  She has a good heart.  Anyway, thank you for thinking of Heidi and also for trying to help.

Poor girl, I hope she has a home now where she will be loved & held in esteem. I feel badly for those kids, too, & for what this has taught them...that you can just ditch the ones you love. Kudos to GSDtravels, & to Moonlite for trying to help, & shame on you to all those others who broke this girl's heart & ruined her faith in people. Faithful servant & friend, dumped.
