The link editor shortened the link, sorry, it is a legitimate link though.
This is my puppy Ben, he's 5 months 1 week old.... he was mixed, Sable Shepherd (Dame) with White Shepherd (Sire).
I can't seem to find any pictures of what that type of cross would give but I'm just curious. He's an amazing dog and I love him to death, wouldn't dream of getting rid of him, just wanted other people's opinions.
He has typical GSD ears that perk, the confused head tilt, great back leg angulature when stacked (sorry no stacked pics), typical GSD face, long black tail.
Here are the curious things, possibly faults, possibly a different Sire. White socks, white tip on tail, short stature, overly muscular.
He is well fed, limiting portions but making sure he doesn't get too hungry, he will eat all day if allowed to. When you look at him from above and feel his ribs you can see his shape and feel his ribs, not really much fat there. He only stands at 19" at the withers and weighs a whopping 50+ lbs. His feet are ENORMOUS, bigger than a 5yr old GSD we met at the park the other day. His gait seems to change as his weight fluctuates but still looks kinda shepherdish.
He doesn't have papers and I'm really hoping he is pure-bred because I love the size of the GSD and am just completely attracted to pure-bred GSD but if he turns out to be mixed, I'll still love him no less, he's just so adorable.
Thoughts??

I see what you mean about his proportions and his stockiness, but it may just be his build, he still looks shepherd to me. Even with the white. You'll probably have to wait a few months to really see what he grows into to have a real idea of his adult shape. Don't suppose you have photos of his supposed parents at all?
