To the Executive Committee,

I am quite sure, like the rest of the world that you have all heard the furore regarding the above very correct, and highly qualified dog, both in health issues and character. I shall expect, without delay, that as Mrs Kean is a BAGSD member and a very upstanding highly thought of lady in our breed, you will all be joining together to make it known very loudly to the Kennel Club that you do not agree in any way with their actions, if you have not done so already.
I feel very strongly about this and I am not alone in any way. BAGSD have a duty to their members in more ways than taking membership fees, and now is the time for you all to allow the public, your members and the Kennel club to know what you really believe is right. Please allow the public, worldwide to see if BAGSD is a club with morals, and backbone, it is a vital issue, and will not go away by silence and apathy.
I hope by now, you will have written to Carol and given your feelings on the matter. If there was any doubt, in anyones mind that this dog was not a superior specimen with documentation to show that fact, then we would all be in a different position, but this dogs career has been marred in the eye of the public and Carols morale has hit a very low note. I am very dissappointed that I have had to hear that Carol is a BAGSD member via the internet, as I would have thought that it was worth the full home page of BAGSD website, denigrating the way in which Caroline Kisko and her lady friend behaved on television.. but I also note the absence of any congratulatory note on the website either. I sincerely hope that BAGSD are not taking the silence stand on this so as not to seem to be involved.... Carol Kean should be receiving the necessary proteciton from BAGSD with a request to Caroline Kisko that she make a full and public written apology to Carol for such nonsense.
.
I look forward to hearing fom you and thank you in anticipation.

I couldnt agree more !
Andrew Winfrow and Bob Honey attended the week-end event at Catton Hall - not on Koerung day, but on the trials day, and not a mention - nothing at all. Personaly, they should be ashamed if they are not going to support Carol and Lagos - and certainly I think questions will certainly be asked at the AGM.
Will it alter things? Hmmmmm.
I am going to write to them again and ask for a reply, or even an acknowledgement that they have received and are giving my letter some consideration.

I hear what you say, and I totally agree - but it sticks in my throat that a small band of people, having been left to it, by the sensible John Wards of this world, can command the stage, when their membership is vast.... and lots of that membership are good honest people. Eric Roberts has thrown the towel in, John Ward has thrown the towel in and no one can blame them..... however, the lotto motto comes to mind.....
you have to be in it to win it.
I am sure they would love me to rescind my membership. And Why? Because Shirley and I have made public waves about issues that needed going public, and it STILL hasnt moved any mountains. We have a member out there having struggled and demoralised after winning BOB at Crufts - and still they dont support her.
Personally, I think there needs to be a serious look at the behaviour of people making the decisions of BAGSD to see if all of the BAGSD members feel the right decisions are being made. I dont mean the vote, Although the vote was to be "counted" by the accountants, according to what we were told, it was "counted" by Doreen and AW and then taken to the accountant for verification...why bother people have asked. Doreen as secretary would have not an opinion I expect, but Andrew has certainly made his opinion known that he wanted to sign, and I doubt very much that Doreen was a member that didnt want to sign, so where was the fair play? I heard horrendous statements at the week-end trial, enough for me to know that there is a "Mafia style" intelligence among some of those leading this large, affluent association. Everyone is accountable, and so should be. Mo.

In the conversation, it was promised that a congratulatory page would be put up on their website for Lagos. Mo..

lots of decent members of bagsd out there sure
'mafia' style behaviour dont even begin to describe the actions of the bunch currenty controlling bagsd though
get the real picture- talk to those you mention who have recently left
talk to the ex vpg chair-man mt
talk to other dog sport people now with the league/packed up altogether
then decide if it is even moral to remain
PS I hope your computor has good protection- if not avoid e mail exchange with anyone from bagsd ec (or asociated)
