My dogs natural red pigmentation comes out stronger in the spring and than fades in october, november...anyone else have the same experience? In the winter months these areas look tan with a small amount of red.

My dog does the same as does his sire. I think it has to do with camouflage for the duller winter landscape.

I agree that it has to do with a naturally inherent camoflouge for the duller winter landscape...yeah for spring!!!
