yellow eyes in GSDs

Is this considered a fault? They yellow eyes are very piercing. How common is this?

Eyes should be dark, the darker the better. Yellow eyes is considered a fault.

They will probably get darker with age.

Ya, they're considered a fault but I personally think they look wolfy cool.

long coats are a fault, too, but I like them....... I don't breed for it, but if it comes up its not the end of the world.

i'd guess he's right around 6 months when i took that picture.
