Dear Sportsfriends,
How can one depict all of the original bloodlines in a single chart?
I have put a new website online by the name of www.gsd-legends.eu with information that you will not find anywhere else (completed for English/Deutsch, introductions for Español & Nederlands).
This website contains my German Shepherd Dog “Hall of Fame” Chart for instance. In this chart , you will find my attempt to visualize 110 Years of GSD-breeding, with all of the different bloodlines nicely depicted side by side. The website will provide GSD-enthusiasts with a lot of interesting information, for instance a follow-up on the documentaries “Pedigree Dogs Exposed” (BBC) or “Pflegefall Schäferhund!?” (ARD).
In this “GSD Hall of Fame Chart” you will not only find all of the Conformation Siegers of the SV, together with the Legends of the Past, such as Horand von Grafrath, Klodo vom Boxberg, Utz vom Haus Schütting or Rolf vom Osnabrücker Land, you will also find out about DDR-champions, EUSV- and WUSV-winners, FCI-World champions, and about the phenomenal gap between Conformation Siegers like Vegas du Haut Mansard and Leistungssiegers like Javir vom Talka Marda.
Learn about the great achievements of DDR-breeders in their successful battle against Hip Dysplasia, and take note of the evidence of incapacity of the Great SV Kennel Club when it comes to taking measures against this terrible disease. In the one of a kind chart, you will be looking at the failures of the respective SV Breed Wardens, since the moment that breeding has become Big Business, and you will admire the individual GSD-enthusiasts in their endeavors to save as much “Deutscher Schäferhund-qualities” as they possibly can!
