Turk
You really cannot go by a dog's specific weight......
I have a male that looks every bit of 100lbs,(he looks like a bear)...but he actually weighs in at 89lbs.
Our males average 82-89lbs...they are lean, and muscular.
Our females average anywhere from 62-78lbs....maybe an older "chunky" girl weighs more???...she's an old "big" girl!
From my own personal experience, ...females tend to stop growing "upward" around 12-13mos...and males around 14mos.........I'm sure there are exceptions...but I haven't had any.
Best of luck with your female!

My new pup is about 46lbs at 5 months and I'm starting to worry he is a pygmie, Lol. I'd trade him in but he is rock solid in all 3 phases for his age, especially bite work and obedience.

I woudln't worry about it Nero77. If he's a god dog, then just enjoy him. :) My girl went through various growth spurts and we really had no idea how big she would be and she would gain 10 lbs in 3 weeks and then 1 lb in 2 months. She ended up at a muscular 67-69 lbs which is right where she should be.

I was just wondering, like I said not that size really matters. She's doing well in her training and is really starting to make great strides. Thanks

It's hard to say how much more the dog will grow.Give her the recommended food intake, don't overfeed her and don't worry about it.
And also, if you haven't already done so, do not give her puppy food, switch to adult food,if you are feeding her kibble.
If I had to venture a guess and I may be completely wrong, I'd say, maybe 85 lbs.

I think she's pretty large for her age, actually. My litter is 7.5mos old now and the leanest female is only around 45-50lbs, the heaviest is around 60, but she doesn't look that heavy. She's all bone. Although they might not be good examples; none of them have ever had any spurts to speak of; they've always just looked like minature GSDs instead of puppies. A lot of people have commented on that, and a few have been mistaken for small adults at their clubs. So, take my sizes w/a grain of salt. I think the growth pattern you're describing is more typcial. Personally, I wouldn't want a female that big, so I'd be happy if she didn't get any bigger.

shes been on adult kibble - 24% protein and 17% raw. She eats about a 1lb of raw and 2 cups of kibble per day. Her sire is 90 lbs and dam 80 lbs so she's probably going to be somwhere in that range.

Do you mean 17% fat, Turk?
