Erri father is sable and mother is true bicolor.

both

both parents have the recessive black gene, in same litter of Erri there were solid black, sable and bicolor puppies. I have a question to you based on previous posts by you on marks a sable dog has on toes and back legs when he has a black or bicolor recessive gene, what do you think seeing my puppy Erri pictures, he does not have the black hair inbetween or on the toes, that is strange since he surely has either black or bicolor recessive gene?

I see black toe marks, and faded tarheels - I think he will either keep these markings or they may get darker. You are right, mother is a bicolor. If she produced black puppies as you say she did - then your pup either carries bicolor or black recessive. Beautiful pup, gorgeous pigment and head/bone. Absolutely gorgeous.

I have pmed Molly before regarding Erri but without pictures and that is why I put those pictures, but all are welcome to comment, critique, share thoughts, I have an open heart and would love to hear what all have to say.
