The tail wagging means he's excited.   Do I dare ask what you mean by attacking?  and who are these intruders?  How old are you donny?

by Setanta on 10 January 2010 - 22:01

There are different types of wagging (fast, slow, tail up, midway up etc etc). And ditto re Red Sables questions. My question would be 'is it normal to have lots of intruders?'. More info needed.

I mean every time some one comes over he barks at the front gate wagging his tail very fast trying to attack them it makes people think he does not bite till they try too open the gate and he charges at them so they know not too come in and they know then he does bite but when he wags his tail like that he looks freindly i want to know is that how they train them when they attack its very unusual he looks like he loves to kill  or some thing im just trying too get answers to find out more about how they trained him too act the way he does thats all

Oooooookay, got a little defense drive! I do hope you're planning on some serious training...although he is a little late to start in really GOOD control, you can probably make him safe. Keep in mind that as far as the law is concerned, you're a guy with a loaded weapon...and that wagging tail just means he's really into it. Be careful, Donny.
