Register of Excellence - Health What is this "award" and where does it come from? OFA? GSDCA? I cannot find any information on it, other than some dogs that have it. Is it what they had before AKC/OFA came up with the CHIC? Thanks.
I see it on these dogs and I know I've seen it on some others too.

It means that they have done all the health checks for that certain breed that is required,

I believe it is the GSDCA Health Award Program

It's also been used by USA White German Shepherd clubs as their equivilant of the ROM that the GSDCA offered, though that's not the case with the examples given. I think that the GSDCA also has a title for OFA Select dogs, as well as Ch/Sel's who live to be 13+... but can't remember what the name of that is
